Here’s what you can enjoy in 7 hours on magical Serifos:

1. Stroll through Chora

If there’s a Chora that embodies all the magic of the Cyclades, it’s Serifos’ Chora. Built amphitheatrically on the slope of a hill, with views embracing the Aegean, the Chora seems to float above the island. Narrow, whitewashed alleys, houses with blue windows, small courtyards with basil and cats create a magical setting inviting you to walk and feel it. Stop at the beautiful town square for a coffee, then head up to the castle ruins. From there, the endless blue stretches before you, and Serifos shows you its most authentic face.

2. Go for a Swim

Summer isn’t complete without a swim — and Serifos knows how to welcome you with its clean, quiet, and authentic waters. If you want to stay close to the port, Livadi Beach is ideal: spacious, within walking distance, with cafés and tavernas nearby. If you have transportation and want to discover the island’s more “secret” side, head to Ganema or Psili Ammos. Sandy, magical beaches that captivate you with their simplicity and crystal-clear waters.

3. Lunch by the Sea

Somewhere between swims and strolls, comes the moment to simply sit and savor the island’s flavors. At Livadi, by the water, tavernas offer “fournisti” chickpeas, fennel fritters, fresh fish, and chilled wine. For a more traditional atmosphere, head up to Chora and choose a table in the square. For quieter spots, go to Koutalas or Megalo Livadi, where the scenery takes you away and the food delights you. And before you leave, don’t forget to try the famous Serifos louza, traditional Serifian cheese, and the unique xinomyzithra.

4. Shop for Little Treasures
